Our path to success
Tradition and innovation have been a hallmark of the BETH®brand for over a hundred years.
On the basis of patent no. 38396, granted by the Imperial Patent Office on January 26, 1886, the inventor of the world’s first bag filter, the Lübeck engineer Wilhelm Friedrich Ludwig Beth, founded his company in 1887.
The BETH® bag filtersoon found its way into other branches of industry in addition to its use in grinding plants. Over the course of the 20th century, Maschinenfabrik BETH®became a leading international company in the field of industrial dedusting.
While the original aim was to improve the production process, more and more filter systems were gradually added to increase operational safety and reduce the burden on the environment at a time when people were not yet aware of environmental protection. BETH®was way ahead of its time.
By reducing dust emissions, it was not only possible to work more economically and ecologically, but above all more humanely. In a short time, the term “BETH® filter” became synonymous with all types of dust extraction systems.
From 1956, the BETH®product range was expanded to include dry and wet electrostatic precipitators.
In 2013, the company and the world-famous BETH®brand were acquired by the shareholders of R&R-TECHNIK. This brought together the products, services and market areas served by both companies.
The merger of R&R-TECHNIK and BETH®in 2015 to form R&R-BETH®created an innovative technology company. Today, R&R-BETH®has a unique variety of available products and technologies as a plant manufacturer around the globe.
Traditional values and experience as well as the sound training of young people are the basis of our sustainable growth. We seek an active exchange with colleges, universities and research institutes as a bridge to science.
