R&R-BETH®cartridge filters are used for large volumes of air with low dust concentrations. Here it is important that the dust is dry and free-flowing.
The advantage of a cartridge filter is the large filter surface due to the numerous folds of the filter material in a so-called “filter cartridge”. This means that smaller filter housings and therefore a smaller installation area are required in comparison to bag filters.
However, this filter system is very limited by the extremely high risk of clogging of the filter media, especially with larger dust and material particles, fluff and light fractions in the exhaust air, high dust loads and humid exhaust air and sticky residues.
The use of this filter system must be carefully checked in order to avoid operational failures, high operating costs due to constant replacement of filter cartridges or clogging of the entire filter.
If the right location is selected, the R&R-BETH® cartridge filtercan also be equipped with a continuous cleaning system with compressed air pulses, just like the
R&R-BETH® bag filter, and used in a continuous operating process.
Environmental regulations are reliably and permanently complied with while adhering to the specified emission values and taking into account a wide range of upstream production processes.
Different designs, pressure-resistant and pressure-shock-resistant housings and substructures with static verifications enable optimum adaptation to each individual application.
